HEADBANDS - Houseleague and Intercity
Law 4 states: <<A player must not use equipment or wear anything that is dangerous to himself or another player (including any kind of jewellery).>> <<All items of jewellery (necklaces, rings, bracelets, earrings, leather bands, rubber bands etc.) are strictly forbidden and must be removed. Using tape to cover jewellery is not acceptable.>> This includes sweatbands, headbands and elastic. For tying the hair in a "pony tail" ONLY, elastic bands are acceptable if they are tightly wrapped around the "pony tail". No other elastic bands are permitted. Pro-wrap is acceptable to tie hair back - that is the sponge-like material used in taping - because it breaks apart when pulled.
